Welcome to the Fort Collins Police Department Retired/Alumni Association.  We are not affiliated with the department, but we are made up of retirees and alumni from this agency.    We Hope you enjoy this web page, and we seek your comments on it.  If you are a Retiree or Alumni of the department, and we do not have you on our list, please contact us with your information so we can include you in our mailings and notifications of events.

•  With Sadness, we report the passing of Chuck Hagemeister on 12/25/19, at the age of 88.  Chuck was an officer with FCPD in the late 50's and Early 60's.  He then was a teacher and adminstrator at Poudre R1 for over 20 years.  He also worked for the DA's office as an investigator.  Chuck will be missed by our community.  We were pleased that he was able to make one of our FCPD Retiree/Alumni get togethers and chat about LE war stories and his passions.  Condolences to Chuck's wife and family.

RETIREES 

We want to distinguish between these two titles, although EVERYONE who worked at the PD is welcome to be part of our association.  Retirees are defined as anyone who worked for the agency for 20 years or more.

ALUMNI

An Alumni is anyone who worked for the department!  In our initial research, we cut our list off at approximately 5 years.  However, those with less than 5 years are also welcome!  Our intent is to network with everyone who worked at the police department and to renew old friendships. 

We have also included in our emailings, those current members of the department with 20 years or more.  If you are a current member, and have less than 20 years and would like to receive emails from us, contact either Mike Thornton(mjt47@aol.com) or Dave Freismuth (davefreismuth@comcast.net) with an email address for us to send stuff to.  We hope to keep this website current with items of interest to Retirees and Alumni of the department.  We also would love for members to submit items for the website, as this is a work in progress  

Contributions/sponsorships are welcome.  All contributions will go towards supporting the web page, communnication with members, and events for our alumni.  Contributions are not tax deductable as a charitable donation.
